the project is set within a sixteen-hectare natural pinewood in the mediterranean scrub. in this unusual setting the living spaces are made from wood, positioned under the tall pine trees, while the shared amenities and the restaurant merge perfectly into the trees with a covering of sheet zinc-titanium. the technical-scientific solutions and the materials selected for the project demonstrate its aim: to build a 'lasting' structure with space for the colours, sounds and scents of nature, creating a close integration of the ‘constructed' and the ‘natural'.
