the theatre was built in 1874 as an open-air theatre for daytime entertainment. the restoration project has recovered the original structure and returned it to its original purity of composition. chromatic shades used range from black to white to grey. the decor, distinguished by the contribution of sculptor giacomo strada, has recovered the original use of the theatre reinventing the balance between spectacle and entertainment.
