often we find ourselves working with architects and designers on projects that are very different from each other. we travel different routes because the aims and intentions are different, but our way of designing is just one: the quest for the right light. In this search we often create special light fixtures that are made to measure: sometimes the architects already have an idea in mind, other times our thoughts seem to be opposed, to return in the end to meet each other again. the conbipel brand's most important sales outlet was opened in the spaces of the ex-cinema in corso vittorio emanuele. conceived as a single volume, its architecture has essential lines and neutral colours in shades of white and grey. the double volume of the interior, that reaches a height of 14 metres, called for the creation of a specially designed lighting system that has become the characterising element of the space: 16 white hanging light fixtures mark the space. made of white painted fibre glass, they have metal iodide light bulbs inside halospot lights that act as accent lighting.
