The Hotel Mod05 appears like two buildings, one on top of the other, divided almost without ever touching by a long strip of glass: the parallelepiped section that accommodates the rooms, compact but lightweight, floats on the ground floor, the articulation of which responds to the functional complexity of the whole. The Lobby extends through and around these volumes, always leaving visual corridors towards the surroundings, towards the countryside and glazed glimpses of the sky.The material strength of the volumes is enhanced by the treatment of the surfaces covered in rough plaster and treated with continuity of finish and colours between inside and outside. The hotel is always different, day and night, room by room, moment by moment. A 'live' facade that lives in harmony with the inhabitants of the building.
