showroom daikin
place:mestre, italia
project:kellermade architettura
lighting project:arch. paolo curcio keller made architettura, gianluca grilli arredoluce bologna
The showroom is a two-storey space opened onto the road, a white volume in which perceptive games are played guided by the dominant element - LIGHT, which has the dual function of highlighting the products and at the same time guiding, marking and underscoring the show walls in an unreal atmosphere.Aesthetic essentiality, flexibility, discretion, excellent chromatic yield and high visual comfort: these are the features that the architecture of this elegant sales outlet in the centre of Mestre requires of the lighting system. An environment that presents numerous installation difficulties and for which targeted lighting was designed to precisely underscore the shapes of the objects on show, creating an atmosphere of well-being and an all-enveloping feeling of pure air. Where the almost invisible shapes of the recessed units fit into the architectural context without being seen, freeing precise and decisive rays of light, gone crazy in the show area and which project the products into the forefront, communicating both in the clear daylight and in the dim darkness of the night.
