to this end, we have drawn up sustainability policies and undertaken initiatives relating to energy, suppliers and products in accordance with the principles and values set out in our code of ethics. these efforts reflect our commitment to an inclusive approach that respects human and labour rights.
in 2026, our short- and long-term emissions reduction targets, based on scientific criteria, were validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). these targets envisage achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, as shown in the table below.
we have always been aware of the sensitive nature of the industry in which we operate. we are more convinced than ever that the true quality of what we do also lies in the sustainable success of our business through the pursuit and integration of economic, social and environmental objectives.
we carefully select our suppliers, favouring a local supply chain (91% of our suppliers are italian, 4% european and 5% from outside europe), to offer our customers the highest quality of light over time (in terms of efficiency, colour rendering, macadam step, etc.) through solutions that combine artisanal expertise with technological innovation.
during the qualification phase, we follow the guidelines set out in our partnership charter, requiring partners to adhere to our code of ethics and sustainability policies (covering 66% of total spend in 2025), as well as administering ESG questionnaires (covering 80% of total spend in 2025).
in order to provide our customers with information on the safety and durability of our solutions, we have included in our technical data sheets and assembly instructions, details on how to replace the light source and the separate control gear, in addition to technical product data.
