the room ‘In search of life. What do human remains tell us?’ expands the visitor experience at the Museo Egizio in turin with a space dedicated to exploring and learning more about life in ancient egypt, as well as their concept of mummification and afterlife, starting from the study of human remains and their accompanying grave goods.
the lighting project, developed by Museo Egizio, was studied to merge into the large display cases that house extremely fragile items. the display units feature traccia sistema with special micromen spotlights controlled by integrated dimmers. they are dedicated to the smallest items. diffused lighting is provided by 13x8 linear lights, also in a special version with integrated dimmers and louvres.
