in this private residence in the centre of milan, light is the absolute protagonist: an area of 400 square metres in which large windows and a design conceived to interact with the city turn light into a true building material.
the design work was entrusted to architect Stefano Belingardi, who set himself the goal of creating a clear, enduring identity that would stand the test of time while harmonising with the historic building.
the living area is a single open space where the sitting room, dining area and kitchen flow seamlessly into one another and maintain a visual dialogue. at the heart of this space is the fireplace, above which stands the n55 tavolo with mk02 decorative glass, whose elegant diffusion enhances the lacquered wood of the walls. next to the large custom-made sofa, the n55 lanterna with ajp01 decorative diffuser provides gentle, adjustable light that invites intimacy and relaxation. in the bathroom, fully clad in honed classic roman travertine, and in the bedroom, metropolis – a large wall sconce designed by Stefano Belingardi – integrates seamlessly with the architectural lines and interior design choices.
