in the triangle d’or, in the heart of paris, stands an imposing building that was designed in the 1930s to serve as a citroën showroom. current owner Gecina, a major french real estate company, has carried out an extensive redevelopment project, transforming the building into a multifunctional complex with innovative workspaces, areas dedicated to exclusive events, co-working, and integrated services. the project was entrusted to the architectural firm PCA-STREAM, which reinterpreted the iconic structure by incorporating key renewal features.
the building welcomes its users with a monumental entrance hall, which is overlooked by the various levels of the building. large floor-to-ceiling windows ensure the interior is constantly in contact with city life. under the large glass dome, a luminous sculpture dominates the space in the form of a large chandelier. designed by PCA-STREAM and produced by Art et Floritude using Viabizzuno technology, it extends the geometric pattern of the window above.
with its symmetry, glass and metal, this work pays tribute to the art deco style of the 1930s. each suspended element combines two sound-absorbing panels and a light fixture, blending technical performance with poetry.
