this residence, which is characterised by its spacious rooms and an eclectic interior designed by Edmund Ng Architects, is located within the exclusive Allamanda Grove residential complex in singapore. at the heart of the house is a monumental staircase which connects the different levels both physically and visually. the double height is evenly lit thanks to 094 sistema integrated into the false ceiling. the lower floor features various lighting solutions, including c sistema, n55 soffitto with ajp01 decorative glass and traccia sistema. these allow for the creation of different lighting scenarios that can be adapted and customised as required. above the large dining table, da ma sospensione – designed by David Chipperfield and marionanni – decorates the space as a crown of light. four p1 lights have been positioned on the floor at the base of the staircase to illuminate a large reflective sculpture. each room in the residence features works of art and fine objects that require carefully designed, dedicated lighting. to ensure flexibility in the layout, easily adjustable lighting solutions such as n55 on tessera, here in a special version, have been adopted.
