Beike Findfang (beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., a chinese company dedicated to driving the digitalization of the housing service industry through technology, has inaugurated a large library within its training center to commemorate the company’s founder: «true commitment, true service, and true unity are like a stone thrown into a pond; ripples spread, gradually and surely influencing everyone around us. this power is silent, yet it permeates even stone». the architectural project by Kiki Archi reflects the founder’s words and the company’s philosophy. the books and documents displayed here blend harmoniously with the space, offering visitors a distinctive spatial experience.
for this project, Viabizzuno developed special versions of the n55 to create a customized lighting atmosphere, perfectly integrated into the architecture composition conceived by the studio.
the circular shape of the space is echoed in the consultation stations, which follow the same curve. each spot features a special n55 with an arm mounted on traccia system and a lampshade, providing soft and elegant lighting dedicated to the individual user and free from glare. lighting for the larger study tables was achieved with a special version of the n55 tavolo, whose body is directly integrated into the tabletop. seamlessly recessed into the furnishings, tracks of traccia sistema with trentotto spotlights illuminate the books on the shelves, while micromen spotlights – with their compact and miniaturized presence – provide light for displayed objects, key features and artworks.
the intentionally chosen colour for work lighting is forest green, which reminds us of sustainability, waste reduction and energy efficiency. the sense of balance between human beings, work and nature is also sought by rational and scrupulous measurement of lighting parameters.
successful offices create a narrative connection and an emotional transformation to capture people’s attention. the workplace is considered an ‘ecosystem of experiences’ designed for presence, not just frequency.
