golden beach is a small, exclusive residential community located in the miami metropolitan area. situated between the intracoastal waterway and the atlantic ocean, it boasts some of the state’s most prestigious residences. life here is slow and peaceful, as construction of high-rise buildings and businesses is prohibited.
the guiding principle for this private residence, whose architectural design was created by Edith Peraza, was to balance natural and artificial light in order to enhance the architectural details, finishes, and extraordinary works of art on display.
the light fittings were therefore chosen to reveal the depth of the volumes and create a sense of three-dimensionality throughout the space. at the same time, some of the fittings were chosen to be sculptural elements in specific areas. this is evident in the 13° angolo pendant and floor lamps, which, when positioned at the entrance, accentuate the double height and illuminate the antique japanese screen.
the living room, the heart of the house, opens onto the lush garden. here, only a few discreet light sources are needed to enliven the space. the n55 terra and n55 tavolo, positioned on either side of the sofas, create a soft and intimate ambiance.
meanwhile, the m1 micro scomparsa totale spotlights provide light throughout the room and blend perfectly with the architectural lines.
above the dining table, the n55 sospensione with mk01 decorative glass creates an inviting setting for socialising.
to illuminate the kitchen island, tubino sospensione was chosen, running the full length of the counter. in the study, the cisei shelving system offers a complete solution for displaying decorative objects and books, accentuating their colours and textures.
in the suite, c2 anelli, suspended above the bed, illuminates the space with lightness. the curved lines are echoed in the master bathroom, which features campana brembana.
