the Telegraph Hotel in tbilisi is located within the historic building of the central post office on republic square. designed in 1964 by georgian architects Lado Meskhishvili and Teimuraz Mikashavidze, the Telegraph Hotel was conceived as a monumental structure that would both reflect the past and define tbilisi’s future. its distinctive façade, monumental cornices, double atriums and seamless integration into the surrounding urban axis made it an architectural landmark. the hotel’s design – that preserved the building’s original appearance as much as possible – was undertaken by one of the world’s leading and renowned architectural studio Neri&Hu.
the project was developed and created by Silk Development, responsible for real estate project creation and development, and is managed by Silk Hospitality, which oversees the management of completed projects. both are part of the Silk Road Group, known for delivering exceptional projects across georgia that meet international standards while blending seamlessly with unique locations and natural surroundings.
in the Signature Lounge, many coppibartali in the single-module version articulate the space and enhance its elegance with their refined finish.
located on the top of the Telegraph Hotel, Rolling Stone Rooftop Bar is the world’s first rooftop venue under the iconic Rolling Stone name – an exclusive destination designed for those who value sophistication, meaningful connections, and a curated social experience. music takes center stage with a program that flows from soulful live performances and sunset electronica to uplifting house and ambient sets into the early hours, creating a soundtrack as dynamic as the city below. here, anything could happen under the gentle and elegant light of Viabizzuno’s n55 sospensione with decorative glass nh01, designed by Neri&Hu.
nestled within the walls of the Telegraph Hotel, there also is Tatuza Jazz Club, named in honour of the legendary georgian jazzman Tatuza Kurashvili. it carries forward his spirit: soulful, bold and unmistakably timeless. every evening, the club transforms into a stage for connection, storytelling and improvisation. Ketuna Kruashvili and NOA Studio chose for this space the warm of royal incasso and the diffused light of n55 h20 as a backdrop for artists’ performance.
