in this space designed by EK Design, art is no longer confined to walls or display points but rather spreads throughout the space. the concept of the growth garden is not a stylistic setting, but a spatial logic: structures grow, light grows, plants grow, and art quietly extends within. the multi-story atrium serves as a channel for the natural light, cascading gently. plants climb upward along the structure, while installations unfold naturally across the floors, walls and ceilings. the levels of the space are no longer distinguished by function, but they are connected by the rhythm of growth.
floral installations droop with curvature, as if growing slowly from the top floor downward. light and shadow make walls and vegetation appear, presenting a flowing sense of life. here the architecture is no longer merely an object to be observed, it is transformed into soil nurturing life.
in the entrance corridor, light from the stromba spreads with grace amidst the clusters of n22 sospensione. the cisei sistema gently illuminate the walls and the objects, while highlighting the space’s refinement and lightness. traccia sistema integrates seamlessly with the ceiling, and with the trentotto spotlight and the 13x8 linear fixture, it provides both focused and ambient lighting. this delicate approach lays the foundation for the space’s lighting: whether for daily ambient light or the presentation of artworks, everything harmonizes effortlessly.
in the garden, luminaires such as lucciola, lanterna tirolese, tsukimiso, zero orientabile and p1 picchetto use light as a delicate brushstroke, emerging subtly from the textures of stone, soil, walls and floors, collectively outlining a tranquil and elegant natural sanctuary.
