Operaparken is a public park on the copenhagen harbor front designed by the renowned danish studio Cobe for recreation, relaxation and contemplation in the middle of the dense city center. organized with inspiration from the european capital’s historical gardens with winding paths and carefully crafted viewpoints, Operaparken consists of six gardens from various parts of the world, a café and greenhouse, underground parking garage as well as a covered pedestrian bridge connecting the park with the neighboring royal danish opera.
the lighting design – created by legio in close collaboratorio with Cobe – is carefully tailored to complement the park’s natural expression. the fixtures are finished to blend beautifully with the surrounding environment, harmonizing perfectly with the tranquil atmosphere of the place.
this creates an aesthetic unity where the lighting works not only as practical wayfinding, but as an integrated part of the park’s architectural vision. along the winding trails, Viabizzuno’s palo b. in corten cast a soft glow that creates an inviting ambiance as evening falls.
tall custom biblio palo mounted on poles made of local wood lights throughout the garden, while bacchetta magica ceiling fixtures and trasparenze emergency lighting has been chosen for the indoor part of væksthuset dining area.
